To Fill You In
I'm sure you can imagine, summer break is not exactly a break for my family! We stay busy with appointments and whatnot but we try to squeeze in the fun when we can. :) Although we only have about three weeks until school starts (yuck!) I can honestly say that we have had a really nice summer. So....to fill you in!

The Kids...
They are doing wonderfully! At their annual physicals they passed with flying colors although we left with instructions to feed Cadin more! Can you imagine? I don't know where that child puts what he eats but apparently for his height he needs more. He's just a couple of pounds lighter and inches shorter than his two year older brother! Cameron still has a hole in his eardrum but the surgery is postponed due to the fact that his right ear has worsened. So cross your fingers that we don't have to do tubes again and that his ears will heal with time. They both passed their eye exams a couple of weeks ago and Cam's eye seems to be improving a bit. The doctor wants to give it a little more time before deciding on glasses. So we go to the dentist in two weeks and that about sums up our medical visits! Cameron is losing teeth left and right. One was so loose that Cadin actually magaged to "kick" it out! Cadin's speech is improving tremendously as well. I am so proud of both of them. They're getting so big though. They will be coming with me to my school in August and are pretty excited about it. I love the fact that I will be with them more and will actually get to be involved in their school activities. We are really, truly blessed.

Summer Adventures
After weeks and weeks of laboring over our pool, I finally magaged to get it open recently. So needless to say we have spent an enormous amount of time lounging and playing. Not a bad way to pass the time, huh? Brandon and I spent a few days in Gatlinburg in June for our "second honeymoon". It was much needed and we had an incredible time. The kids and I joined Matthew and my mom for a camping trip to Lake Glendale the week of the 4th. It was nice to get away for a bit and the kids had a blast becoming "one with nature". :) Our next big trip will be to St. Louis probably in August but I'm sure we'll have several more little adventures before then. We always do!

I hope this finds everyone well. Now that I'm beginning to learn the in's and out's of this, I'm sure I'll update more often. I hope you all are doing great!
